Snow removal – Fed up

Snow removal – Fed up

Today, the driveway is clean after yesterday’s snow fall!
Every time there is a big snow fall there are politicians like our city mayor that stated – “December’s ice storm brought community closer.”
32,500 trees were damages, debris and other public areas are still a mess. It it cost $21 million – why is my street still a big mess? and I really do not know my neighbors.
Why do we have to read and hear all this rubbish, just do your jobs and don’t let us fall around the mail box which is thick with ice and snow. Oh yes, we have emailed the Mayor and the Ward Councilor and they promised to look into all this mess! Maybe it will be cleaned up in – I am just upset at the mess.

It is me Daisy

I have been off line as I am thinking of doing a book on my life. Mum is so busy with the university that she has no time for me. I hang out in the sun room thinking about what I want to do with my life. Then surprise, I want to write about life and all that nice stuff.

Off to the sun room again to nap. Chow for now, Daisy

Stress

Stress

The way you cope with stress is to have a cat like Daisy who sits at the fireplace and thinks about life. A good role model always helps.

Never believe that pets have no influence.

Bad trades, with no rules

Bad trades, with no rules

The Ontario government must make it a crime and move these frauds into jails where they belong. Thank God , out current group of trades are a great team and we can keep them forever.

Eric, Erik, Ram and Tony – you are the best! At least I can smile and refer you.

Countires and how they spend $

When I meet people in the shopping center they are busy with work, some have 2 jobs. Not enough time to think how their country spends money. In the US they spend more money on war and not enough to help their own citizens. Coming back to Canada I can see the difference and I am annoyed as to how the Americans are treated in minimum wages, in health care and in many little areas of life. This is not right. Obama cannot do his job because of the Congress. Who works for the people that are in the middle class?

Flyers thrown instead of delivery

Flyers thrown instead of delivery

Two people in a car drive and throw a bounded plastic bag on our driveway. They do not even care if it is raining.
What used to be a job for youth is now done by adults who want to earn $ but not provide service.
The lack of respect of what it means to do things right, have our local newspaper thrown far from the door and for the homeowner to have to retrieve this bag is not right. If one is away for a month there would be 4 bags left in the driveway for all the see.
Either deliver the weekly paper or do not deliver it at all.
